Little Heaven is situated in the picturesque district of the Lake District. Just five minutes from Lake Windermere and in view of all the mountains that make it such a beautiful place. The business was established in 2005 in the small market town of Ulverston and after a year of success the business moved to Windermere. The initial plan was to offer quality wooden toys to parents, grandparents and family and this is still our priority. However, over the past 12 months we have also seen a huge growth in our exclusive children’s wear department.

Our clothes are made by top children’s designers and we are pleased to have five of the best in our outlet. The clothes do truly compliment our toys and we are sure you would agree. We pride ourselves in the way we run our business and this is shown by our displays and the way the shop is presented, we advise our customers to touch and feel the wooden toys and will advise them on what the best products are for their needs. We do not believe in hard selling, the shop has a very relaxed atmosphere letting customers browse at their leisure.

We make sure all our toys comply with all the standards that are required by safety laws as well as the needs of all our customers. Each year we travel to Europe to try to find the highest quality toys, we look at many factors including how educational they are, how robust and how child friendly they are. We also have our own children who inform us of their opinions in our products; the good thing with this is that children never lie.

Like our clothes we try to make sure our toys are exclusive and you will find that although we had one brand last year we may not have it the next. This is not due to the fact that the toys are unsuitable but we only sell items that are not in every toy or children’s shop. The brands we have at the moment are the best money can buy and although this website shows a good selection of products this is only 5% of the items we can get hold of or sell in our shop. If you can’t find an item on this website then please email us – we can get hold of almost everything your little one needs.

Just like our toys we make sure all our clothes are to a very high standard. Although we started off in business as primarily a toyshop we decided that to compliment our wonderful toys we should sell clothes that would fit in with the business. All our clothes are from leading designers in the children’s fashion world and are very much made for that trendy little one. Again we make sure we keep the t-shirts exclusive and are regular visitors to the children’s fashion shows and fairs so we can keep in touch with the latest trends.

Our shop in Windermere covers clothes on the upper floor selling stylish tops, trousers and accessories and obviously not forgetting our wonderful princess dresses. If you want your child to be a trendsetter from birth then a visit to our clothes area is a must.
